East Germany had huge stocks of AK74 bayonets so they adopted the AK74 bayonet to work with the G36. It can be fitted in conjunction with the H & K AG36 underbarrel grenade launcher. AK47

The Egyptians never made an AK74 rifle, so this is the only type of bayonet they produced in large quantities. I hav heard of a red AK74 bayonet by only in pictures not in person.
